Culture informs my creative work by affirming a feeling of belonging & evoking a sense of connection from the past, present, and future.
What has community meant for you as a creative?
As a creative, community ultimately acts as a support system. The people within culture aid in the success, & I believe that has always been the space that I’ve tried to create in.
Why is collaboration such an important part of the creative process?
Collaboration is such an important part of any creative process simply because it ultimately builds a learning environment. New channels of communication can be opened from different cultures through collaboration & I believe that is what moves the creative process.
