Q: When and where is CultureCon NYC?

Q: When do tickets for NYC go on sale?
A: July 2023
Q: Is there an age limit for attending CultureCon?
A: You must be 18 years and older to attend CultureCon. Children under 2 permitted, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Q: What kind of ID is required for entry?
A: Only valid (non-expired) government issued IDs will be accepted.
Q: What bags are permitted at CultureCon?
A: Small bags, purses, and clear bags are permitted.
Q: What is prohibited at CultureCon?
A: Weapons (guns, knives or weapons of any kind), fireworks, explosives, illegal substances, glass containers and cans, framed or large backpacks, or non-transparent bags (any bag that is not clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and over 12”x6”x12”, lensed cameras, long lens cameras or professional photography equipment, radios, boomboxes, instruments or devices with amplified sound, laser pointers, pets of any kind (except for working service dogs) and items for vending (unauthorized vendors will not be allowed).
Q: What’s the COVID policy?
A: We will not require proof of vaccination, a negative covid test, or masks to enter CultureCon. The safety of our guests and team members is our top priority. If you are not feeling well, stay home.
Q: I’ve applied to be a speaker/vendor for CultureCon, when will I hear back?
A: Thanks for your support in CultureCon & for your patience. We are currently combing through hundreds of pitches and submissions—we’ll be in touch if selected!

Tickets
Q: What are your ticket policies?
A: Tickets are non-refundable. Ticket transfer requests must be submitted via tickets@theccnyc.com. All ticket transfer requests must be submitted by Friday, 9/22. Student ticket holders must present a valid student ID at check-in. American Express® Card Members and one (1) guest can enter through the Fast Track line for expedited entry at CultureCon NYC. Must present an American Express Card for entry. *Terms apply.
*Access through the American Express® Card Member Fast Track Line is available only to American Express Card Members. American Express Card Members may bring in one (1) guest, provided all parties are present upon entry and possess a valid event ticket. To gain entry to event through the American Express Card Member Fast Track Line, you must present the representative with a valid, eligible American Express Card. American Express Prepaid Cards are not eligible for this benefit. Entry is subject to both the terms and conditions stated on the back of event ticket and the rules set by the venue.
Q: What is the difference between a Saturday single day ticket and a Sunday single day ticket?
A: The Saturday single day ticket allows you access to a full day of CultureCon programming on both the Culture and Creator Stages, the opportunity to shop Black owned businesses, immersive brand activations, and the chance to meet recruiters at the first ever Creative Careers job fair.
The Sunday single day ticket allows you access to a half day of CultureCon programming on both the Culture and Creator Stages, the opportunity to shop Black owned businesses, immersive brand activations, and the chance to meet recruiters at the first ever Creative Careers job fair, and the Block Party with American Express.
Q: Are there student tickets available?
A: Yes! Complimentary student tickets are available while supplies last.

Food and drink
Q: Can I bring my own food and beverages?
A: No food and drinks of any kind other than reusable water bottles are permitted. No coolers or picnic baskets are allowed.

Q: Is CultureCon accessible for people with disabilities?
A: Yes, CultureCon will be ADA-accessible for guests.

Q: What is the difference between CultureCon LA and CultureCon NYC?
A: For those who attend CultureCon LA, we promise to provide you with the community and genuine connection you’ve been looking for — a warm, vibey experience with a room full of people who are not only interested in what you’re working on, but also about how you’re doing. We’ll focus on wellness, growing in the industry and the totality of the creative in and outside of the office. Designed to feel like a close friend’s kickback, tastemakers from the creative to corporate sphere will have no trouble linking up.
For those who attend CultureCon NYC, expect practical next steps for the creative’s ambitious, entrepreneurial spirit. Whether building a business or leveling up in a 9-5, our solution-oriented workshops on finance, creative strategy, personal and business brand ideation and building meaningful connections, will provide the tools creator’s need to do everything they said they’d do in 2023.
Q: What is CultureCon Week?
A: CultureCon Week is a week of exclusive events and programming leading up to CultureCon the conference! For CultureCon LA, it takes places June 14 - 16. For CultureCon NYC, it takes place October 2 - 6. These events will be hosted at different venues around the city.
