“I am lucky to stand at the intersection of many identities that welcome me and my ideas.”

What have you been working on? Gas yourself!
Life skills (like learning to swim and getting my license!). And honestly reconnecting with my creativity.

How does your culture inform your creative work?
I'm always paying attention to what the PEOPLE are talking about. And making sure my work shows up exactly where they are at. That can be supporting your fav new reggeaton artist, or creating a specific moment to discuss your fav tv show.

What is your greatest struggle/challenge these days?
I think there is a bit of stagnant energy because we are not in the office bouncing ideas off each other. There is definitely virtual exhaustion and that impacts inspiration.

What does community mean for you as a creative?
It means supporting my peers. Collaboration. Critique from a place of love. And always remembering that I am lucky to stand at the intersection of many identities that welcome me and my ideas.

What inspires you in your creative process?
Traveling! Meeting someone from a different place and soaking them up. Saying yes to things that might seem weird or scary. Giving myself room to play.
